That does seem very strange. I see the traffic isn't exactly soaring into the thousands either.

Before I give our CTO another heart attack, are you sure that you actually had clicks on the domain in the last 7 days? I remember having a go at optimising it because it didn't get many clicks and I was just wondering if there are no clicks shown because the stats are now showing for the last 7 days. If you're sure there were clicks on there, then I'll talk to tech.

Hi Ed,

I think Charlie's right. I'm testing a few domains with you and some of the clicks dissappeared today. In particular there were some views and clicks on two job names - now showing no views, no clicks. Also a tenant loan click from about a week ago dissapeared. Trust your tech team will be able to find out the reason why. Many thanks.

Further to my previous post I do have a possible improvement to the home page. The statistical info appears to be set by default to 'last 7 days' for the statistics wheras 'this month' would be better as payments are always on a monthly basis. Many thanks.

Phew. I was just a bit worried that a real rash of people came to us saying exactly the same thing over the last 24 hours I suppose because the first 7 days of October are over and it now looks like the earnings for the month are decreasing.

Our default was always 'this month' but then we had the problem that, on the 1st October, everybody had the same problem, saying that their earnings had been wiped out! So we made it 'last 7 days' but we still confuse people. I think it'd be most prudent to go for a 'last 30 days' option to avoid any more confusion

In fact, let's put it to the vote:
What would you like to see as the default?

Last 7 days
This month
Last 10 weeks
Last 30 days

same as sedo (sorry) wipe out the months ppc/clicks at the begining of every payment period.

Hi Ed,

Perhaps the month ie. October could be shown in a central box in red directly above the stats - most of the other ppc companies do it this way and that way it wouldn't confuse. If people want to look at other periods they could then use your existing boxes on the right hand side. Many thanks.

Agreed. Current month is best, but make the current month stand out more.

You could do what Adwords does, whereby it remembers the last setting used, or perhaps allow users to set their own default via say the User Options page. Failing that 'This Month' would be ok.
