🚀 The Domain Investors domaininvestors.co.uk NEW Web3 TDL .DOMAININVESTORS Has Officially Launched!

The moment has arrived for domain investors and digital asset professionals to take ownership of their digital identity.

We’re excited to announce the official launch of .domaininvestors — a new TDL created specifically for the domain investing community.

Whether you’re a domain investor, broker, marketplace, portfolio owner or collector, this is an opportunity to secure your own digital real estate within a namespace built around the industry.

Why settle for a generic extension when you can own a name that immediately identifies you with the domain investment community?

What makes .domaininvestors different?

.domaininvestors is built for the emerging Web3 domain ecosystem. Your name can be used as a digital identity and Web3 wallet address, while the wider technology is developing towards greater integration between blockchain names, digital assets and websites.

Traditional browsers do not yet generally recognise Web3 domains as normal website addresses, but we believe this is an area that will develop as Web3 becomes more widely adopted.

We are early — and being early matters.

The people securing names today have the opportunity to help shape a new digital asset category and potentially build valuable digital real estate before Web3 naming becomes mainstream.

This is where Doma Protocol becomes particularly interesting.

Doma is building infrastructure that allows domains to become on-chain digital assets, creating opportunities for domains to be tokenised, owned and used within blockchain ecosystems.

That means the domains you secure today can potentially become more than just names — they can become part of the growing on-chain digital asset economy.

Examples include:

[✅] ai.domaininvestors

[✅] company.domaininvestors

[✅] broker.domaininvestors

[✅] investor.domaininvestors

[✅] domains.domaininvestors

[✅] portfolio.domaininvestors

🔥 The .domaininvestors namespace is live and domains are available now.

So this is freename ? So its an off the shelf web 3 domain ? So wont resolve in most standard browsers ?

Is that correct?

You should probably mention these facts before pushing for sales if thats the case.
Ok yes but you would assume on a domain forum domain investors would already know that as it states Web3

I have no idea what Web3 is or freename either, just been researching it, and it all seems a bit convoluted to me, as it appears pretty much all browsers don't recognise Web3 domains, so the average person in the street wouldnt have a clue how to reach a site with a Web3 address.

Yeah I hear you but I would assume domain investors would know lol But to clear things up it's basically a Crypto asset wallet for you to store your online assets it can be set up as a Web3 website but most people do not have the Web3 browser plugin enabled so would not see it but as things move on this will become the norm as when you usually get a Web3 wallet on a blockchain you usually get a string of random numbers like 0x45578br you would usually give this string of numbers to someone to pay you in crypto or to make transactions in crypto on the block chain like Etheruim or others so having eg: dan.domaininvestors becomes an easier way to accept payments on these blockchains so essentially it's a wallet address with a name instead of numbers looks cleaner and is easier to give to someone or add to your business cards more professional look as well as easy to remember and if you like you can still build a web3 website on the domain you can also tokenize the asset and sell it on chain yourself so you could essentially by ai.domaininvestors then sell it on the crypto exchange in shares so you get maximum profit using sites like Doma

Thanks for explaining further, pretty much confirns what I had read earlier.

It's not something I'd use, I've got no interest in anything block chain related and know nothing about it, and I don't use crypto or crypto wallets. It's much easier to upload some html files and people visit the site directly on normal domain name, without someone having to find out that they need to use certain browser plugins etc to view a site.

Check out Doma Protocool that may give you a bit more of a clearer vision where domains are heading when it comes to Web3
Maybe i'm being blind, but doesn't say web3 anywhere on your post ? Unfortunately.... you can't assume anything about peoples knowledge.
Sorry I just updated maybe it was my Linkedin post that stated the Web3 iv'e now updated the post so it's clearer.

I'm too old for stuff like this, there weren't any computers or internet when I was a kid, so I never grew up surrounded with computers and tech stuff, totally wrong era for me unfortunately, I'm more at home with things like all building trades, stripping a car down and rebuilding it, dry stone walling, that sort of stuff :)

Nice i'm into cars too I have a BMW Ac Schnitzer i'm currently restoring so I hear you great to have other projects to work on and to keep you busy I actually got on the internet for the first time in 2004 but didn't learn about domain investment until around a year and a half or so ago but I came from a world of SEO so picked up the industry quite quickly good luck in your domain sales and your side projects would like to see some pics one day stay in touch.

cool. Wish you luck with it. Wasn't trying to pee on your campfire, but it's like the wild west at the moment in web 3/blockchain. As it happens i have quite a few...so i hope it takes off and becomes part of the mainstream choices.
