Hi everyone,

We’re opening this thread as the main NiceNIC thread on Acorn Domains for questions, feedback and product updates.

NiceNIC is an ICANN-accredited domain registrar, operating since 2006.

We currently support 2,500+ domain extensions, together with domain registration, renewal, transfer, bulk management, reseller tools, Domain API and WHMCS integration.

For resellers and developers​

NiceNIC also provides a Domain API for teams managing domains through their own systems.

For Acorn members coming from this thread, API access can be activated FREE, with no reseller prepayment required just to obtain the API.

A rather different NiceNIC update this time:

NiceNIC MCP is live.

You can connect supported NiceNIC domain tools to ChatGPT or Claude and query them in natural language.

For a domainer, the simplest use is probably asking it to check availability, prices or portfolio information without clicking through several screens. Supported tools go further into DNS and domain-management actions as well.

I’m particularly interested in whether domain investors find conversational portfolio management genuinely useful, or whether the traditional dashboard still wins for most day-to-day work.
