Hello everyone,
As some of you already know, the great Pints & Parking is making a return. We promised that this would be a regular affair as networking is such a key part of an industry where 99% of the time is dedicated to hiding behind a computer screen.
Last time we had 6 attendees who, despite the small numbers, made up a micro-cosm of the UK domain industry. This time around, we already have more than double that number confirmed and are massively looking forward to the event next week. Those 6 are also coming for a second round, so the first one must have been good
As with the previous event, and any subsequent events of this nature, we don't want NameDrive to push to the front of the proceedings. In November, the focus was firmly on UK domainers and the UK market, not on the fabulousness of NameDrive. This is exactly what we wanted to achieve. A chance for you to meet other people in the market without being lectured on the benefits of parking every domain you have with us.
We will provide the drinks and finger food (presuming I don't eat all of it as happened last time) along with any answers to questions you have about our program and observations on the market from our side of the fence.
The event will again be held in London, though we are certainly considering having a Pints & Parking North in the near future too as I appreciate a lot of you aren't within a stone's throw of the Thames.
P&P II will be next Thursday 9th March from 3.30pm. Last time we were there till 9.30 or so, so feel free to trickle in whenever you like (but not too late or you might be left having to chinwag with me and Greg on your own!). We found that a late afternoon start worked well, allowing people to get a good day's work in while not eating up too much of your evening should you wish to hop off early.
It would be great to meet you there. Please contact me by PM or email if you'd like to attend.
Ed
