Hi All.

I am looking for a list of all the parking platforms, the likes of sedo, afternic etc.

Reason is to build these into DomainUi as forwarding options.

So where do you park your domains :)

Morning Paul,

Here is how I see the main parking providers:

Category 1, of course are the direct Google feed ones, they prefer using the working "Tier-1 companies" only (avoiding the word Google):
  • @sedo
  • ParkingCrew — part of Team Internet (rebranded from CentralNic)
  • Bodis
  • Giant Panda that is the newest in this exclusive club, and received their Google AFD feed in Nov 2024.

The next category (of their own), of course, are the brand-typo monetizers:
  • The London-based Dengi Media are probably the oldest company of this niches in the world
  • @SitePlug (India-based and belong to the Affinity Group, USA) currently are the most visible one, and Jonathan Dsouza https://www.linkedin.com/in/jonathan-dsouza/ is doing a fantastic job advertising it at all the domain industry events he attends

Then next one probably are the multi-feed platforms that use different approaches and adjust to markets, and, at the same time, do not have a direct Google AFD feed. This is heavily dominated by Australian collegues - distant Brits? ;)
  • ParkLogic is now fully owned by Michael Gilmour (Australia)
  • Above.com that are part of the Trillion Group (also, Australia)
  • @godaddy CashParking (in-house parking) - maybe James Iles can comment more here on this (they definetelly see their mentions at Acorn)
And the last category are the ones that have gone beyond just talking - are doing monetization their own way:
Of course, your own domainui.com that offers parking using Amazon monetization (something else as well?)
@Monte (Monte Cahn) also has recently started mentioning that they offer parking solutions, maybe he or @auctionscott Scott Pruitt https://www.linkedin.com/in/scott-pruitt/ can comment more on this.

Btw, @JamesTuplin has moved from Bodis to Above.com > James, how's the parking scene today and is there any company missing from this list?

Thank you for that rpely, realy helpful and some good takeaways.

How about platforms where you park your domais for sale :)
