I've used and tried many many parking sites including building my own. I'm now just trying out undeveloped.com to see how it works and performs. There is no revenue, but do get some data on visitors. Granted, its not that hard to build something like undeveloped, but it is a lazy option and saves maintaining servers, yada yada.

Many of us with portfolios are using now too. Avoidance of ads which is great to prevent risk of copyright infringement, nice UI, decent looking parking pages. Happy so far.

Moved what's left of my portfolio there a couple of months ago. Good support by Simon. Had a few leads and a sale. Good flexibility in display options and analytics. Progressive.

Yes, its simple, I used to do a similar thing, for myself, but maintaining is always a head-ache. This allows me to focus on other stuff. Some good features in there. No sales, yet, but happy to see some good traffic figures from a couple of really good, must be type-in .com's. Fingers crossed I can evaluate the sales functionality soon!

As this topic is from last July, I was wondering how people are getting on with Undeveloped.com now they've been there a while, decent number of sales etc?

I've just moved my domains there from Sedo, I should have done it a lot sooner but couldn't be bothered at the time. My only niggle with Sedo is that they have ads on the landing pages, and I know a lot of people use ad blockers these days, which means that as well as removing the ads from the landing page, it also removes the link to buy or make an offer on the domain, and for that reason, I've moved to Undeveloped, because for all I know, I could be losing potential sales.

Thanks Paul, obviously, all names are not equal and neither is pricing, but what sort of names have you been selling, one/two word generics, or brandables, and were they listed for £x,xxx or £xxx etc?

which one's?

Honestly, all the one's i couldnt sell on here for £50 are making good money on the site.................

Mooves dot co dot uk - couldnt get £20 on here but it made £400 on Undeveloped and thats one of the lowest financially i've sold on there.

With your portfolio Kev i'd expect big smiles from you in a few months.

What do they do different at Undeveloped that leads to such good results compared to Sedo etc.?

Probably that the visitor get a sales landing page on first land, instead of a bunch of parking adverts that 90% of Joe public have no idea the domain is inactive and for sale

I am just wondering what you mean here about the ads and copyright infringement.

When you list domains on Sedo or other parking sites who serve ads on the for sale page, a business/TM holder could claim infringement of their mark if your domain appears to be trading off their business/TM name, and they'll use the fact that ads releating to their business/TM are showing on your parked page, for which you may be earning revenue from ad clicks, and they'll use that as proof of abusive registration in any DRS they may bring.

@PaulK, thanks for the PM, good to see someone making a fair few sales on there, and a good sale on the Mooves name, considering there was no interest for it in the bargain basement here. Hopefully I'll get some sales along the line as well :)

As per my PM reply, It'll come down to pricing, I think my BIN's are mostly fairly priced, but I don't want to put people off making an offer, as some may look at the higher priced domains and think its not worth making an offer based on the BIN price, whereas, I would sell for less providing an opening offer was decent enough for me to bother countering. Perhaps I'll add a note to each listing saying I'll listen to offers starting at 20% on some of the higher BIN priced names.

Yes, that'll definitely play a role in getting more offers. and as I mentioned above, if people have adblocker and visit your domain on Sedo, as well as removing the ads, it also removes the links to buy or make an offer on a domain, so all people get is a completely blank page.

Just this minute had my first lead on Undeveloped :), the domain hadn't received an offer before since I caught it in 2017, the .uk has been hand registered today. The domain has a £529 BIN price, and a doctor has offered £100, I countered with £479

What did you have on it before? Parked on sedo?

Used undeveloped for over a year sold 20 or so domains but every one i sell i get half a dozen dead beat bidders where they do not pay as undeveloped do not have a vetting procedure so any Tom,Dick and Harry can hit the buy it now button and waste your time and in between you might of lost another potential bidder that is the real only negative but the rest is real good like their support and super fast payouts, I would recommend them over anybody else and i have used them all over the years, i just wish they would have some kind of vetting procedure in place.

Fascinating. Anyone switched over to Undeveloped having been with Uniregistry previously? The landing pages aren't so different - both miles ahead of Sedo, obviously. (example)

I used uniregistry for a while, i found it quite messy to deal with compared to undeveloped, it is so simple and easy to use but like i say the only downside is the no vetting procedure so you will get a few more tyre kickers than say the others, Btw i never sold a single domain on uniregistry.

I'm just starting to try out Undeveloped after the good reviews on here, couple of questions

how are you setting the BIN its refusing to allow me to set it to below 1000?
how are you dealing with .co.uk/.uk ? Listing separately, just listing .co.uk ?
