Hi. I don't see any clear path to monetization. My guess is that you'd have to build something creative (people on TV using slang words accidentally, a dictionary of little known slang words, a site for parents to see if movies are appropriate for their kids, etc) and hope to get traffic. As is I can't see it reselling for much despite it being reasonably generic.

Then again, at as little as reg fee who knows? I guess its worth seeing if it has ever been able to get traffic and if anything similar has sold.

Hi , thanks for your input , slangwords.com sold for $1500 on moniker back in 2008

Maybe do something like the Urban Dictionary with it, but I think making more than the renewal + hosting would be difficult.

I see it's taken, but the singular slangword.co.uk is available.

I can't imagine many people searching for "slang word" or "slang words" as opposed to "knackered meaning". And as Google now pops up an info card giving the answer, even the top result doesn't get any traffic.

Possibly writers might want a list of slang for a particular industry / group.

Probably the best use for it would be for selling domain names that were formed from slang words!
