''Once you jump on the bandwagon you're already too late''
Here is an opportunity for anyone with a bit of web savvy to jump on the bandwagon before it's too late!!

Lettings is booming and as house prices continue to rise more and more people are being forced to let property rather than buy...

These domains are for sale as a set for £50,000

LettingsAgent.net
LettingsAgency.net
LettingsAgents.net
Letting-Agency.net
Lettings-Agent.net
Lettings-Agents.net
Lettings-Agency.net

Letting-Agency.com
Lettings-Agent.com
Lettings-Agents.com
Lettings-Agency.com
LettingsAgencies.com
Lettings-Agencies.com
Letting-Agencies.com

Lettings-Agent.co.uk
Lettings-Agents.co.uk
Lettings-Agency.co.uk
LettingsAgencies.co.uk
Lettings-Agencies.co.uk

Let the bids roll!!

an average of roughly £2500 each. That's not too unrealistic.

It must be at least £xx,xxx

What do you lot reckon??

Surely these would be extremely useful working together and linking together. As the majority holder in a niche market one would be in a very strong position if all sites were up and running!! Y/N??

As a set....this MUST have value over and above reg. fee!!

Does anyone have values on the set!! Any appraisers out there??

..........You been on the mushrooms again Lex?

and
Domain Name Portfolio Estimated at One Million Dollars to be Sold

go for it lex - someone will want it :D

IMHO these domains are let down by being plurals and having hyphens.

Using these keywords, the ones with value are letting (NOT lettings) followed by either agent, agents, agency or agencies

lettingagent and lettingagency would have a fair value as they would no doubt sell to a companies as their main website address

lettingagents and lettingagencies would have less value but would sell to traffic speculators or website developers to be used as directory type sites

Of the ones you listed the only ones I can see any value in are:

Letting-Agency.com
and maybe
LettingsAgencies.com
LettingsAgencies.co.uk

As for value I can only say what I would accept if they were mine. If I got an offer for £1,000 I would accept.

As for the others, I would either delete them or put a £50-100 price tag on them and hope I sold a few.

All this is just my opinion, so please take it as just that ;)

I'm notsure what planet you lot are on!! However, I will give you the benefit of the doubt as they know not what they do!!

These combinations and genericism are quite frankly an exceptional set for this particular industry...

Niche markets are the key...watch these domain spaces, domain faces!!

Nothing gets on my t*ts more than someone who asks for advice then thinks he knows better.

ps. what's the weather like on Mars?

Hi Lex,

I think you may get $1000 for letting-agency.com, I think this is a nice(ish) name. LettingsAgencies.co.uk sounds silly, but might be worth £50 to someone. I see no value in any other domain you have posted here. Sorry!

The trouble with this portfolio as far as I see it is that there is no proper "core" domain to anchor these onto.

They are all additional or subsidiary domains that may or may not get traffic into the main site.

None of them are particularly brandable.

None of them seem to be type-ins.

agents is more popular than agent than agency than agencies
letting is more popular than lettings
and you seem to have very few letting and agents domains and no lettingagents
so they are sub-par.

If any of them have traffic feel free to prove me wrong!

However they do contain keywords in them and so would be ok for feed-in traffic sites if you developed them up a bit, and every lead in this market is usually worth a bit.

If you owned lettings.com /co.uk or tolet or lets or even (if you had to) lettingagent/s to anchor the others onto then as a package they might be worth something.

Even the PR releases you point to don't mention lettings but rather rentals.

I would value them now as follows (generously):
LettingsAgent.net £200
LettingsAgency.net £100
LettingsAgents.net £100
Letting-Agency.net £10
Lettings-Agent.net £10
Lettings-Agents.net £10
Lettings-Agency.net £10

Letting-Agency.com £1500
Lettings-Agent.com £400
Lettings-Agents.com £750
Lettings-Agency.com £150
LettingsAgencies.com £450
Lettings-Agencies.com £350
Letting-Agencies.com £1000

Lettings-Agent.co.uk £150
Lettings-Agents.co.uk £250
Lettings-Agency.co.uk £50
LettingsAgencies.co.uk £200
Lettings-Agencies.co.uk £50

Total £4,740

I think this is top end and would be to someone who perhaps already has an "anchor" domain that they want to extend.

Now all you need is to find the right company!

-aqls-

estatesagent.co.uk is free
estatesagency.com & .co.uk free

&

property-agency.co.uk is gonna drop in 6-7 weeks ;)

Nice choice there

You're valuations are based on...?

The only thing that there is to go on is the sale of LettingAgent.co.uk for £1500 in Nov '05.

Based on this figure, I believe your prices are low and definitely out-of-keeping with the relative prices Letting-Agencies pay for advertising. I know that this line of argument is 'alien' to you domainers. A one page ad in a local paper will cost anywhere from £1500-£2500...for one day.

Correct me if I'm wrong; but don't over 3/4 of all property searches start online??

As a set these are definitely worth more than you're appraisal. Thanks for takingthe time out to do it though. I appreciate it. However...you are wrong.

Lex, i can't comment on the valuations of your domains.

lettingagent.co.uk sounds like a bargain at that price.

Full page advertising in my area costs around £350.00!

Even you don't use the term lettings agencies.

Also how can you compare a domain name that will get little if any type-in traffic to a full page advert in a local paper. Sorry but I just don't get it.

Why do you continually ignore good advice from domainers who obviously know far more than you. You are just wasting your and everyone else's time.

I remember sometime back you were asking for valuations on the same sort of domains and you just ignored the advice back then as well. Have you ever (I doubt it) managed to sell a domain?

Surely, the .net domains aren'tworth nothing? I mean, really; that IS ridiculous.

How much is economically.co.uk is worth d'ya reckon? £50?
