I was going to ask this in another thread but thought it deserved a thread of its own.

I've noticed a few .co domains crop up on here and certain members seem to be quite a fan of them. Do you think they are worth it for:

Resale?
Development?

I've never really had much to do with them myself but after having a play around before there do seem to be a number of domains still FTR that may command £xxxx if it was in .co.uk and £xx,xxxx if it was in .com.

I've never really took much notice of them myself and I find it hard get over the fact it just look like someone has just omitted the 'm'! :)

I'm a fan......maybe even a little obsessed :). They seem to be put into the same bracket as .io's for tech startups etc. Id say there is more call for brandables rather than generics or keyword domains though. Ive had offers for a some of mine.

One in particular seems to get offers on a regular basis on Sedo, top offer been £1700 which i should have taken............but I was being stubborn because the same guy offered the same via email ( or at least i think it was him ) so paying SEDO a 15% finders fee on that seemed a piss take.

I haven't seen any evidence of interest in them with regards to domain sales, development etc. I think a lot people are clinging on to hope as they do with any non-established extension that exists only to make the registrar richer.

Did you miss "m" or ".uk" off the end I hear them cry!

ive just reg'd my first and no means last

i love it

Then why are you trying to find a buyer right away?

Is it not for your own usage?

just because ive advertised it for sale doesnt mean im going to sell

am seeing if there is any interest.
its not 100% essential for what im doing as I operate with location specific mini sites so not going to affect my business if i sell
