But if my domains point to ns1 and ns2 from within my registrar's control panel... How will they know where mydomain.co.uk is, if they don't have an A record pointing to the server's IP address? The subdomains, in any case, are already set up on my server.

Not too sure how that would work, as I run my own server and in the past have normally set up ns1.mydomain.co.uk and ns2.mydomain.co.uk to point to my server's IP address. I'll have a look at Daily and see if they'll allow this.
