After spending a couple of hours fiddling with the Heart control panel, in a last-ditch attempt to try to love it, it looks like I might have resolved my issue - based on a hunch.
I reverted to using Heart's nameservers, then:
- added ns1 and ns2 as two sub-domains with an A record in Heart's...
But if my domains point to ns1 and ns2 from within my registrar's control panel... How will they know where mydomain.co.uk is, if they don't have an A record pointing to the server's IP address?
The subdomains, in any case, are already set up on my server.
Not too sure how that would work, as I run my own server and in the past have normally set up ns1.mydomain.co.uk and ns2.mydomain.co.uk to point to my server's IP address.
I'll have a look at Daily and see if they'll allow this.
I'm having a bit of trouble trying to find a good registrar that will allow me to set up sub-domains on my domains, to point at my own nameservers.
