    Catching a .co.uk domain?

Pleased to report back that I was successful with my domain catch! I don't support by any chance eCatch are a forum member on here? I've dropped them an email on Friday re the invoicing but haven't heard back (although I know it's a Bank Holiday in England so guess that might have an impact?)

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

I can understand the problem a bit better if for some reason you don't read the usernames, although I don't quite know why I'd thank myself if I was quoting my own post! Anyway as long as people are happy I am myself and not someone else then all good.

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

Yes I'm trying to catch a name too - I don't quite understand how that makes me 'posting like I was geebee'. In my first post in the thread I quoted them (#16 - https://www.acorndomains.co.uk/threads/catching-a-co-uk-domain.152951/#post-587170) as it seemed logical to follow on from their post...

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

LOL nope, it's a totally separate request I just thought their post with list of catchers was useful and thus quoted it in my reply!

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

Sorry I don't understand - I quoted geebee's post listing catchers in my reply as it seemed relevant. Subsequent posts from them seem to be asking about a different situation. I'm afraid I'm genuinely confused what you & websaway mean!

    I'm sorry I don't understand what you're asking?

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

I must say that's what I was worried about - they may feel it has no value but if I contact them it does have value! TBH we were just planning to register it when it became available but then when I read about dropcatching realised that might not be possible! Have registered with all the...

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

Great, thanks again. Noticed the difference when I looked at the latter few I quoted above - all were on bid model, previous ones had been single price. Hopefully between the 7 of them we're in with a reasonable shot (and when I say fairly generic I mean within a specific field, not something...

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

Ah OK, thanks RobM - was beginning to wonder when they all seemed the same! Thanks for clarification. BTW naiive question, but I take it these are all reputable and will just charge the fees they advertise? My colleague is a bit worried about using one of these services thinking they'll snag...

    Catching a .co.uk domain?

    Thanks for this list- when going through it though I noticed a large number of them appear to be identical, just with different prices - 0001.co.uk (£300) backorder.premiumdomainnames.co.uk (£50) ukbackorder.com (£35) catchdomains.co.uk (£35) domaintree.co.uk (£35) ecatch.co.uk (£35)...
