I am not in UK.I don't know wether you can 'shift + key' to type. But seems it has high traffic. And I know people who use Apple Mac can find this character on their keywords. And people in Germany,France etc. can also find this character on their Pc keywords
It also has high google trends: Google Trends: §
It even has more trends than $,£,€ Google Trends: §,$,£,€
Ahh the section symbol - that's what it's called.
Interesting article - on a mac it's 'option + 6' = §
I'm not really keen on IDN's but this and a few other's I've seen do look pretty cool typed into the address bar. The only problem is that when you type and enter it in your browser it changes after page load to "http://xn--eba.com/"
- It would be grat if browsers would mask this in future.
Would also add massively to IDNs' values.
§.com seems to be doing pretty well though ($1850 with 20 bids, a day and a bit to go)
Sheesh Dave. I had one like that for sure. I need to check it out. Thanks for the info! It *may* have been a similar IDN char -- need to scour inbox for xn--
I spoke to the auction house about that pound symbol .com auction after it closed, and they said there were no bids or interest... It was obvious that no one was going to pay 1 million for it.
I would say xx,xxx max.
