We apologise for the recent email delivery issues concerning delays and
timeouts on 123-reg servers. This has been caused by a massive increase
in spam coming through our system. To combat this we are rolling out new
anti spam measures to make our MX servers more resilient to spam and
improve your service level. Your email service will return to normal as
soon as these changes are implemented. We apologise for the
inconvenience these delays are causing and thank you for your patience.

Seems to be getting worse. Now most rather than some of my mail is delayed, some of it by ~ 30 hours or more :-(

I think I've had less spam than recently over the last few days so maybe their 'measures' have been implemented or maybe just the spam is being delayed too :-| I hope their measures have *not* been implemented yeat as if so, it's actually making the root problem worse not better...
