Quite like the name but think it’s the sort of thing that you might have to sit on for a while before receiving a decent offer on. Personally, I did not go for it as I already have far too many domains that are 50/50 if they ever sell.

I just looked and pl, nl, es, de, be, etc, etc are taken too. You're right though, I might have to let it mature for a while.

It is as Popular as 1Bet in registrations (possibly more so looking at the Country Codes) so was probably already on a couple of catchers books.

Still can't see anybody wanting to go forward in development or enduser for .co.uk without the pair

Simple answer = NO

Onebet or 1bet is a usable bookie and punter term

"Bet1" dosen't really go unless it was for branding. Just an opinion

As a late rider to the above post. You can understand (and forgive) lots of reasons for anyone to register something short and attached to the word "Bet" but the better ones have "familiarity" (as spoken).

From an English language point of view "Bet1" is almost akin to "Trap one" or "Horse one" if you said that in a bookies - those that have brought up those domains in various extensions are mostly misguided domainers attached to the the word 'Bet' (Apart from .com, which I would take anyday of the week)

PS -I personally Have Never set foot in a bookies in my life and I dont gamble (can't see the point or fun in it)

That's a nice catch, even better you got the pair in the end. I reckon they might make you a nice 4 figure amount, maybe not quickly, but eventually.
