Tired.co.uk and Fastest.co.uk

Two recent acquisitions by myself. I have my own ideas on uses and values but would like to know people's opinions on value and possible uses for each name please :)

Thankyou

I would generally only buy a domain if I could think of a really good use for it. If you can't think of a good use, then other people may struggle too. I would value them at £xxx to an end user, but who would be your end user?. You maybe lucky and get someone contacting you about them if you hold on to them for a long time.

The thing what popped into my mind when I seen fastest was broadband. Guess it could work well with sites about cars, motorbikes etc.

Tired - information site about insomnia with a certain 'Faithless' track on a loop playing in the background, you know the one :D

A fool and his money...? :(

Not sure about tired but I do like Fastest, I think low to mid xxx for it.

O the irony ;)

Thanks for the comments and opinions everyone. I have ideas for both, and as with all my names I can afford to invest for the long game so there will be no need for me to keep reducing them to pay my rent so it's all good :)

Tired - a snoring/sleep apnea information site, with affiliate sales and lead generation. Having suffered from it myself, until I had an operation, I spent a fortune on all sorts of ridiculous cures. It's like dieting, those that suffer from it try just about everything, which usually involves lots of money over a long period of time, from a fiver for some nasal strips to a couple of grand for an operation.

Value, who knows? I rather like the uncertainty in domain values now. Generics are fubared as far as I can see, but I think nice short memorable words that could be used for brands have a long way to go. IMHO and all that..

Thanks for your opinion Rob and it is pretty much how I am seeing and experiencing it first hand too. It seems the ones who are getting ahead are the ones who have a sense of vision :)

What do you do when you're tired?

Go to bed?

A beds/bedding website?

It is surely though better to know what you're planning to do with a domain before you buy it?

I'd perhaps use Fastest as a broadband comparison site (for both speed and cost)

Lot of consumers out there looking for fast broadband speeds for gaming, TV streaming - and a trend that's only going to increase

Thanks.

Yep beds is one of the ideas :)

But that is where vision comes into it too - I have plenty of ideas and possible exit strategies for all my names, I was just looking to see what others thought.

Yes broadband / hosting / technology runs with the main ideas I have too. Thanks for adding to the thread, much appreciated.

I think their both pretty good.

Being duslexic I stuggle to spell tierd.

I think fastest is probably the better all round domain - more potential for many things.

'up periscope'

lol

I agree fastest is much better. I might make it an info site on things like who offers fastest broadband, fastest cars, fastest growing companies etc etc etc whatever takes your fancy really it has a lot of uses.

Tired.co.uk things that spring to mind are anti snoring site, beds site, an upcycling site for "tired" products (my wifes suggestion so i have to add it to keep her happy but its crap).

Tired.co.uk = medical health site with adsense or anti-snoring website.

Fastest.co.uk = hosting affiliate site, possibly immodium/diarrhoea or even pain relief website.

I actually like the tired domain the more I think about it. I'd say low-mid £xxx for tired and £xx-£xxx for fastest.
