Hi Guy,

Picked a name up last month, and parked up last friday. I didnt set a "key word" and the name had 2 clicks at 5.00$ each. (fri)

Since then the price has been slowly dropping to around 1.00$ per click, is it now I am better of setting a key word? or leave the name set up without any key word, in the hope I get a few more 5.00$ clicks?

Any help appreciated :)

It's probably the case that, without a keyword, the system will have pulled out adverts based on the domain name (without the extension).

I think that's what ND does... maybe Ed could clarify?

The drop in PPC will probably be down to varying bid prices depending on who was bidding on it at the time. Maybe a lot of people bid at the weekend because that's when most people are looking for whatever it is.

Maybe not!

Hi BB,

Thank you for explaintion, Yeah that actualy makes real sense. The domain name is in the "Property" department.

I guess the best key word to use would be "Property" ?

Cool. I wish that happened every time :)

Yes, BB99 is right, we submit the truncated domain name to Goog to see what they can return for the phrase. Seems they came up with the goods. Equally, the two people that came to your page on Friday could have searched "The Top Paying Property Keyword" (not literally, obviously) and got you cash...

PayPal payments going out in 5 minutes :)
