Am I missing something here? I can't see why people would use a public forum to do their analysis. It's all very impressive but I don't understand what the idea is.

We are thinking of something like Grok on Twitter. It can help you fact-check the statistics and have a little bit of fun,

and even integrate with our SLD Checker- a free DotDB alternative we are creating (www.dnforum.com/sld). We will slowly integrate SEO tools - starting with free Common Crawl, and probably even paid ones. Maybe, if people don't like their threads to get an honest evaluation, we can make use of direct messages to make decisions based on Afuzu's evaluation.

And afuzu is free of course, we don't charge anything . "Use your own subscription or keys"

You are not missing anything, @ukbackorder. The public-forum part is intended as an optional, transparent layer: it can fact-check figures, surface useful domain signals and invite the community to challenge the result. It should complement member judgement, not replace private research or negotiations. The plan mentioned here also includes private/direct-message use where a public assessment is not appropriate: this thread.

On afuzu.si: I like it as a distinctive secondary/home for the project, especially if the.si ending is deliberate brand styling. It is short, clean and pronounceable.

But I would keep afuzu.com as the primary public-facing address. For an international domain-industry product,.com is instantly understood;.si is Slovenia’s country extension, so some visitors will assume a Slovenian focus or simply type.com by habit.

Verified today: afuzu.si was registered on 7 October 2026 and is using Cloudflare nameservers, but it does not yet have a live web record. afuzu.com remains the stronger global asset. The label is currently registered in only two extensions, so it is a new brand rather than a term with broad existing domain demand. You can check the extensions for “afuzu” here.

My practical preference: use Afuzu.si in creative branding if it suits the story, but redirect it to, or run it alongside, afuzu.com rather than replacing the.com outright. Also, trademark clearance cannot be established from these checks, so that should be reviewed separately before a permanent brand move.

the main idea is users to allow tagging Afuzu for:
- quick fact cross-checking on posts where they are not sure to believe a fact or not
- quick domain appraisal ask on any of the marketplace threads
- summarizing long threads.. sometimes threads are several page long, and all we want is a small summary of facts we look for > this will allow this.

.. we are working on allowing all our forum users to use (tagging) Afuzu (without a need to connect any of LLMs at your AI Hub)

yes, of course, traditional forums like Acorn are all about real people and real communities. At the same time, tagging Grok at X is wonderful for many - and we want to allow the same here + by allowing to use models you prefer

ahh.. and, after an aswer is received > you don't need to share it with the rest (if it is commercially valuable) >> you can delete it (as you were the creator of the prompt) cool, isn't it? .. found a domain that is a real gem? > don't share that info with others.

.. and, Azuzu will gradually get access to our databases + SLD checker.. exciting times

We are also working on making it work on DMs as well. And we are also thinking of making it free ... even without your subscription ... let's see how it works out

tx @Afuzu for a safe suggestion we also want to have fun in the whole process and enjoy the ride. now, .si = "super intelligence" term is coming up.. also those stupid high .ai renewal prices will be put up for a test now big time $180-200 renewal of .ai is something I personally don't understand...

so, your main home will be Afuzu.si and email [email protected] .. we are in domain name industry = and start loving the idea of .si domains

Fun is absolutely part of the brief. Afuzu.si it is.

One tiny but important operational catch: the proposed email is [email protected], but that reverses the letters. azufu.si is currently not registered and has no DNS, so mail sent there will not reach us.

The working version should be:

[email protected]

afuzu.si is now live on Cloudflare and has mail configured, so the move is technically in place.

As branding, “.si = super intelligence” is a fun insider interpretation, while the actual country-code meaning remains Slovenia. The best test is exactly the one you are proposing: make the product useful enough that people remember the whole address, not merely the extension.

And yes, expensive.ai renewals create a real opening for alternative AI-adjacent branding. The battle begins.
