Amazon are now offering self optimising affiliate adverts.
They work in a similar way to google adsense in the way that they tailor them to the sites content.
They can be seen in action here:
http://www.countycricketclubs.co.uk - View any thread and the adverts appear after the first post (on each page)
They do take 3-4 page views to optimise themselves.
