I'm a bit of a flop when it comes to databases but usually hack my way through it
Why would it be that when I run 2 idenical WP sites (same content everything) one runs like a dog on my server yet runs like a rocket on a fasthosts, internal, shared mysql db server?
Done rebooting, increased memory size, buffer pool size etc. Am wondering if need to increase number of max connections.
Server has 4 intel 2.7GHz Xeon processors, gig of ram (might be a bit to low) and about 70 other WP/.net projects on ot.
Stragely can't get a ping back from my server.. yet is live any help appreciated and favours WILL be returned
