They are a forward thinking and talented team, but choice of name was not their best decision. I would have devoted a lot more time to this at the outset, and secured domain names before development and marketing.

Setting a gold standard is easy, but enforcing it consumes resources. The ICANN approach of nobody really cares, requires a lot less effort. If sales revenue is in decline, the other way to support (non) profit is to cut costs.

Just googled them & was surprised to see them using the .net in preference to the hyphenated .com. Usually only see that with net related businesses.

One of the things G throws up is their latest tweet -"Preparation is key" Had to chuckle at that

@keys The singular .com was put up on Afternic last week by the same seller. Offers on £600 or BIN £1k. Might be worth a punt at that?

edit: the singular .net has an alexa rank of 7M - for no good reason - which suggest to me that they should buy the .com, if for no other purpose than to capture leaking traffic, or to defend their brand.
