All the other main extensions are taken - it's certainly a growing industry. It has some exact searches in it's own right but this increases with subdomains such as

iPhone.AppDevelopment
Android.AppDevelopment
Mobile.AppDevelopment
etc....

This then of course without the longer tail.

As this is a techie industry the SEO benefits will be understood and a good domain for development as a business or feeder site to the main brand
