Austin Mitchell MP has yesterday proposed an early day motion to prevent the Digital Economy Bill going through the wash-up process:
Please could all members who agree with this write to their MP http://www.writetothem.com asking them to support the motion?
As you may know...
The current draft that affects 'internet registries' can be found here (clauses 19 and 20):

However fresh changes are still being made public everyday such as clause 18:

Opposition continues to mount as the general election is to be called the same day the bill is to be debated:

http://edmi.parliament.uk/EDMi/EDMDetails.aspx?EDMID=40883&SESSION=903That this House believes that the Digital Economy Bill [Lords] is too important to be taken further in the last days of a dying Parliament; and considers that a bill with so many repercussions for consumers, civil liberties, freedom of information and access to the internet should be debated and properly scrutinised at length and in detail, with a full opportunity for public discussion and representation in a new Parliament after the general election and not rushed through in the few days that remain in this Parliament.
Please could all members who agree with this write to their MP http://www.writetothem.com asking them to support the motion?
