My local dealer has a 1999 Porsche 911 GT3 and I can't decide whether to swap it for my 4 month old Audi TT TFSI (new model).

This is the Car.. It is a BEEast! :p

Its a tricky one, both are beautiful cars... I think I would personnaly hang onto the TT - brand new, new warrenty, minimal hassels. :D

Id rather have the Porky for the weekends, but you will probs need a reliable car for mon-fri so best to have both ;)

Personally, I'd have neither !
The TT is IMHO, completely overpriced for what it is. And lets be honest, the majority of TT drivers these days tend to be the blond haired, blue eyed trophy wives who used to favour BMW convertibles (no offense meant here).
And porsche are not what they used to be. For me, the mystique has long gone. Personally, in that money bracket, I'd go for TVR everytime (so long as youre happy with high fuel and service bills!), or I'd just keep saving for that elusive DB9 !

ah yes, good old TVR's - I had a guided tour of the factory in Blackpool when I was at school. Every one is (or at least was) hand made from start to finish. One was part designed by a dog (yes that is true!) and the concept car for one used the press switch from the hand dryer in the toilets!

treacle lime butter tree

keep the TT J... the gt3 is a pig at 5 years plus for wear... the TT is also so much more fun and if you hyper chip the rod and add an induction you will keep up till about 125 anyway... of course you will be doing 35mpg while the GT3 owner is doing 12!!!

we brokered a GT3 2000 2 months back... nothing but probs...if your going to PX try a new shape 997 much better car!

obviously a LOT depends on SH and miles for the GT3 but the price is still steep in todays supercar world...

Between my 360 and my GT3 I personally prefer the Porsche. Just feels more drivable somehow. ;)

Don't think I could face the loss you'd take on the TT - and they are a better model than the old one IMO.

If you're getting a 996 GT3 is has to be the RS in white/red ;)

I used to love Porsche having raced one, they are "girly shopping cars" get a ferrari!

I'd have the porsche with private plates but dunno where i'd put the carseat? :-D
