ya, I looked at this and its a nicely produced advert, the sites clear but a bit dated in design.

An interesting one this, but with 3 young children, never in a million years would I use something like this to find a babysitter, childminder or nursery etc. I like what the site is trying to do - solve a problem. Good luck.

The domain isn't mine personally, it belongs to the company. I'm the CTO, richardc another member here is the CEO.

You're not wrong about the design! We recently tried to modernise things a little which blew away a few of the cobwebs, but we really need a big bang redesign for it to be more modern looking. However, the design is effective as is and when we speak to most of our target demographic, they like the way the site looks.

Thinking about why I wouldn't use it, is only because I'd want to use someone I know or rec'd by word of mouth, but I guess lots of people may not have contacts or that luxury.

I was quite surprised you were missing one (I couldn't see it in list) aspect of childcare presumably for a reason, and that's pre-schools - maybe something to do with gov freebies coming up?

I think we cover that with the Nursery category, but they're more of a secondary thing for us anyway.
