After a very successful Grandfather and Sunrise period (Sunrise-CO.NL) the CO.NL Operator will run a 14 days Landrush for .co.nl domain names between March 17th and 31st (starting and ending at exactly 2:00 pm GMT)
Many domains from online and offline A-Brands were registered during the first priority phases and some are already active in the Dutch namespace. A lot of good ‘generic’ keywords however could not be registered yet and will become available for registration next Tuesday at 2:00 pm.
There are no special prerequisites to register .co.nl domains: Anyone, company or individual, can register all available domain names they would like. There is no local presence required and trades, transfers and updates are for free.
CO.NL domains can be registered via a standard EuroDNS account or one of the many participating registrars (incl MarkMonitor, MelbourneIT, IP Mirror, Ascio, Key-Systems and more: Accredited Registrars)
The opportunity:
- CO.NL domains catch mainly International traffic (from internet users in one of the 50 countries using a .co.xx TLD)
- 3.32 million nl domains are already registered which makes .co.nl an interesting local alternative
