This is the thing though, you might not see the value in it but the seller clearly does. If I price a domain at a certain price and someone comes in lowballing me at a considerably lower price I don't even bother responding to them.

I agree, but from a domainer to a domainer, I was expecting some common ground on realistic price expectations...

But if he's not in a hurry to sell and thinks £10k+ is achievable I can't, of course, say anything...

Hi, I think I know which domain you are referring to.

With respect, considering the price indication is 5 figures and you think its worth a max mid-£xxx...

The chance of " a sensible deal..." is a long shot to say the least.
