Bargain for someone imho, reflection on the current state of the co.uk market

to remind himself to use the forum search bar ? :p

No I remembered as I was talking to Ratboy on MSN at the time of the original post, and I told him I would have it along with another name I bought, but I missed out as it sold just before I asked - that's how I remembered :)

Maybe seller could/should have notified several other endusers to drive interest if they wanted to achieve more than the current market valuation?

Maybe the seller had been in touch with potential buyers? ;)

Okay I didn't contact end users for this auction, but I had been in touch for a Sedo auction, where the reserve was £200 (or £165 after fees) and it didn't sell.

Whilst I would have originally expected a higher selling price, as Frank has pointed out, it was bought at an even lower price!

There's no doubt the domain is worth more than the selling price, but it was my first sale on Domainlore, which is one of the reasons for auctioning it there, so it was an interesting transaction.

Next time I'll make sure it doesn't end on a Sunday!

It's always humbling to read a post about a name you sold cheap.

I didn't see much value in it TBH.

Profits what count... :) But a simple template even just changing the domain name sent to 10 - 50 potential buyers on every name is not a lot of effort but can make all the difference really should be standard practice… Its funny how some spend time researching what to buy... but not who to sell it too..?
