I liked this name and very nearly bought it from franks auction, I could see it easily being used a sub domain deal. While you can't sell sub domains, you can sell a convention platform which includes a "free website/email/hosting space" e.g. comi.con.uk. Not to mention so many companies call somethingCON, like construction companies.

Someone with the resources and intention, could turn this to THE convention platform.

Real world who’s going to spend there hard earned branding themselves as a “con” I’d expect its registered in all cctld’s tlds etc developed in none? Vanity domainers domain???
