Although not a field I know that well does that seam an absolute pittance for this type of generic ? Do business really not won't or even consider no matter how cheap org.uk's at all?

Seems cheap, but their was a big deal with game_co_uk being taken via DRS.

I know that but its way cheaper than a DRS... and many business might have much better claim than a "domainer" at that price you'd think even the co/uk owner's themselves would buy it hence my question do business really not even consider them?

If held an end user may have come along.

Why would a business use an extension that represents "for non-commercial organisations".

Yes “Non commercial “ but rightly or wrongly many are not being used as such... are you saying you wouldnt register them at all if your not doing it as a non commercial organisation ?, The ethics behind large companies, corporations etc I doubt very much they’d give a hoot,, if the value is generic seo etc and I doubt they’d be happy even if it was a "non commercial organisation" if it pushed them down listing :D even one place can cost you £

You can use an .org.uk for whatever you wish (not policed), but I believe the perception by the general public is "not for profit" or "non-commercial".
