I'd have said £500 for 'prop' was a good deal for the seller, given it's the singular of what is usually a plural in use.

I agree. Looking at the two voucher domains Barry sold, vouchercode.com for 20 something and vouchercodes.com for presumably around 100, I think both are vastly over priced but the S one at 4-5 times the price was less of a bad deal than the other :D

I contacted lots of interested parties and was lucky to get two people bidding against each other both wanting the domain.
