So this is an interesting barometer domain - it has been flipped a few times by a few domainers.

It sold in May 2010 for $1,200 on Sedo auction (£782 at 2010 exchange rate)
It sold again in Feb 2011 for $1,200 on Sedo auction (£753 at 2011 exchange rate)
Sold just recently for £760 on Domainlore.

It is always interesting to see the same name sell multiple times at auction. As a barometer of .co.uk it would suggest the market has been pretty stagnant (actually declined considering inflation) over the past 3 years.

yes, that was an interesting little run at the end of that auction (final minute bids - creating all the extra 10 min extensions) It was at around £460 with a minute to go - then took off again.

I think most of us would be happy to think of our UK domains holding steady over the last three years, but that wouldn't be the case overall

A friend of mine was bidding on that and just lost out...

He's not a domainer but an end-user and he had a very specific use for it. He was very annoyed with the 10 minute extensions, but I think the buyer would have got it quite a bit cheaper had he not been around.
