Google Adsense Dollar vs Pound

I have a few sites with google adsense paying me by the dollar. I don't know the exact exchange rate atm but I just normally half the dollar amount to get the pounds. eg $100 = £50.

This is great if you want to exchange your £'s for $'s but not the other way round as in our case of getting paid by the dollar.

Is there an alternative to adsense that pays better by paying you in £'s

Has anyone looked into this already?

Yes, contact advertisers directly and bill them in £'s cutting out Google.

You also could hold your payments from adsense until the exchange rate improves.

hi there, they send you cheque after converts in pound to $ ..you can check this history in the payment status

it's not really a big problem for most, as UK advertisers pay for ads in £'s also, so when this gets exchanged to $'s you are getting a higher $ rate per click.

Unless your ads are from US companies it shouldn't really be an issue.

Ah I see, my domains are .co.uk so I'm probably not losing out after all.
