domain extension analogy

GreatKeyword.com = porsche carrera gt
GreatKeyword.co.uk = porsche 911
GreatKeyword.org.uk = porsche boxster
GreatKeyword.me.uk = porsche 924 (me old man had a hideous yellow one back in the day)

My logic is based on the fact that a premium keyword seems to nullify the potential loss of value with some weaker extensions.

e.g. something like: dating/me/uk has value

what does all this mean - I don't know.. is it better to own a cheap Porsche than an expensive, boy'd up Ford Mondeo ST

what do you think?

GreatKeyword.com = classic ferrari, beautiful and will go up in value
GreatKeyword.co.uk = new volvo, desirable and valuable but you won't set the world alight but looks good around the roads of the uk
GreatKeyword.org.uk = second hand mondeo. has it's use and is within most peoples budget and can overtake .co.uk, especially when the volvo is parked up

GreatKeyword.me.uk = second hand moped. cheap as chips. has been known to overtake everything at the lights but once that ferrari or volvo get going, you watch out you don't get run over
