As I'm trying to sell of a big chunk of my domains here, I was trying to think of the best strategy:

- list a price next to each
- put them in sets and price
- put minimum offers
etc.

Then I thought that If I can do a bunch of deals for £200, that would be nice and I can perhaps shift more volume at potentially a lower price to the buyer.

If anyone's interested in this, I was thinking tell me what names (from the list linked above) you want for £200. It may be that the names you pick are worth a lot more than that so I might turn you down, but if you'r close I'll sell them.

How does this sound to people? I know big sell offs aren't generally great for our biz, but I guess it opens up the buyer's opportunity for great buys.

What techniques are people using to shift volume?

Unfortunately for me, my main technique to shift volume is to let them drop as the reseller market seems to be effectively non-existent at present. If you do work out how to shift volume successfully then please share as I think many of us would be interested.

Is it not an option to go back to nominet and ask that they refund registration fees and renewal fees for unwanted domains. On the basis that you were misled when you bought them and they now have less value, and as activity in the secondary domain market as well as the will to develop has now been greatly reduced it would be a fair and proper thing to do.
