If you’re a regular on social networking sites or have been following the newspapers recently, you’ll probably be familiar with the unfortunate practise of ‘trolling’, where people deliberately post controversial or offensive comments on the internet which are aimed at provoking a reaction. It happens a lot on Facebook and Twitter, but is also seen on forums and on newspaper comment pages.
