dropped/dropping domains

Hi again all. I just wanted to ask a couple of things about dropped/dropping domain names. First off, i have noticed the section on the forum dedicated to dropping domains, but was wondering where i could find other sites which show lists of dropping domains, and which ones are the best to use. Another thing I would like to ask is whether catching/ attempting to catch is worth it these days, that is, without using specialist services to catch the domains for you.

For your second point, if the name is worth anything, it is probably booked with at least 1 catcher (if not many more), so the chances of a manual registration are very low, if the name is very small niche or just personal interest, you may be in with a chance of a manual reg.

If you do succeed in a manual reg, then you are either very lucky and nobody else has seen that name or nobody else wants it.

Never mind. Seems that some people can't show their signature and others can. And ironically after 2 edits mine appears....

Anyway I see it as simply as this... do you want a domain? Then backorder it at *EVERY* venue. Otherwise expect to not have it.
