Im curently in the process of developing a football related website.

Any advice on recommeded affiliates?

Anything football related would be helpful :)

Is this a trick question? lol

If your putting up a football related website then you have bookmakers and possibly sports shops if you have football kits etc on a product feed.

Theres no really football related affiliate programs, not that I have seen so for example Man U dont have an affiliate program.

Regards

Mark

Maybe i should have been more clear

I wondered which affiliates have the widest range of football banners, for tickets, kits, betting etc.

And if any banners were team specific?

Right quick lesson in Affiliate Marketing

1) You are/will be an affiliate
2) The person who sales the stuff is a merchant not an affiliate
3) Look for betting websites or sports shops and grab the banners

Nothing more too do oh apart from when you put the banners up it has your affiliate code in it so that you get paid.

Still not making myself clear (my fault not your's :) ), i do understand the difference between a merchant and an affiliate.

I mean't to ask if anyone has any recommendations on any affiliate schemes

Ok again your not clear, your saying affiliate schemes

Where you should be saying affiliate programs or networks.

All networks have a wide variety of sporting merchants so its best that you join all of the networks.

Grab whatever banners you can as they change regularly for different promotions etc etc.

Some betting affiliate programs will have specific banners related to team betting etc etc, or the sports shops may have some for specific teams, or just a montage of kits etc.

I would just get some banners in place for a stop gap at the moment, and not worry too much about getting rich.

You need to crawl before you can walk.

It's a big field the betting markets and a very hard one too crack.

I cant even spell it let alone be it ;)

And hes learnt in 3 messages the difference between the lot, so even though as my tags says I'm blunt sometimes, but hes hopefully learnt a tiny bit about terminology.

It would be like someone going into a mechanics and saying my round thing seems to have gone flat. It's good that someone wants to develop a website, but theres a lot of learning and trial and error before hand.

you got the ticket outlets for ticket sales (some do football matches)

you got the bookies for the betting

you got people like just socca and uksoccershop for kits and boots etc.

search somewhere like affiliate future for more merchants

My turn to be pedantic.... No they don't. One of the networks I use is a purely financial network :p
