Hey,

Picked this up with the hope of creating a quick revenue stream for that minor footy competition thats going on in the summer!!??!

Any bright ideas on how to make the most of it....or possible sell on value.

I would give the affiliate path a go seeing that that little competition is happening soon. It's not a bad domain but the exact match generics, i.e. footballflags, are much better and already regged and in use. Still there's evidently some potential, and ranking an affiliate site could only help in any subsequent sale afterwards. I would envisage a sale to an end user, your name is quite brandable.
