My boy has been waiting to get these free games, do we have to have a disk to download them from the PS3 store after logging in to the Playstation, or does it download them on to the actual Playstation box?

I think it stores them on the box. I don't have a PS3, but a friend has been talking about the free games, and that's the impression I got from him.

Yeah, it's currently downloading Ratchet & Clank game to the hard drive, my boy will be busy for a while, as we bought him five PS3 game the other day for his birthday, plus these 2 free games, I expect I'll also be playing more games as a result

My son is so excited to get a free game but taken over an hour to download 5%....

The first free game is now at 28% downloaded, with 128 minutes left.

@360350, must be a hell of a strain on their severs with millions of people downloading freebie games at the same time, no wonder it's so slow.

is there a list anywhere I can get of these games that are available?? Might dig out the PS3 if there's some good titles!

Dead Nation (zombie game with a bit of a top down view like Commando on the spectrum)

Infamous (run around town like GTA but you are a super hero or super villain)

Wipeout Fury (futuristic racing shite)

Ratchet n Clank (arcade style sonic-esque like Treasure Island Dizzy on steroids)

Little Big Planet (weird)
