Actually, people take the mickey out of MacDonalds workers, but a lot of the dole-collectors cannot get a job with them because they have trouble with the forms. Now they might be able to get an inside-track advantage towards getting off the dole...

Whatever, I'm not volunteering - watching people exerting themselves makes me feel tired ...

From all accounts, they are a top level company for training. The perception and the reality of MacDonalds are two different things.

Anyway Edwin, the chicken nuggets in MacDonalds in Matsumoto City, directly opposite the railway station, don't taste anything like they do over here, I know! Those Japanese just don't get it right.

If a product is Japanese, it has to be smaller, neater and cheaper than the western version. Taste is a secondary factor - you tried sushi
WTH the worst Macdonalds are in France - rawburgers with slime and mustard.
Dit les mots "bien cuit" quand en placant le demand.

Im very impressed with the McDonalds in America compared to over here. The food and drinks have a better quality about them both in how they are produced and packaged.

Did make me laugh though that they call the burgers "sandwiches" in an effort to look more healthy. There were also sporting and outdoor pictures/banners plastered everywhere.

They call them sandwiches everywhere - the burger is just the meaty bit, and there is not much else you can call them! There was the "burger in a bun" phrase Wimpy used, but the marketing doesn't work if you call things "chickenburgers" or "fishburgers".

Might come as a shock, but Macdonalds have two sandwiches (one fish, one chicken) on sale in New Zealand with "approved by Weightwatchers" stickers, and they intend to extend the "approved" range and sell such things worldwide.

Fast food IS getting healthier ...

I think it's good Edwin, major and worldwide coperation helping out.

As for fast food, I'll take my breakfast in Burger king over Mcdonalds anyday and my dinner in Subway over Mcdonalds anyday :D
