Gambling.com up for sale

I saw that through Frank Schillings site (under Danno's blog).

Do you think the name has negative connotations? Do people who like a bet want to be reminded that they are gambling? Names like poker.com, casino.com are more positive and obviously worth a lot more. Gambling.com? It's a bit like having a skiing site called danger.com or brokenleg.com

The negative side to this domain were my immediate thoughts also - almost as if it would be more appropriate for a gambling addiction help site. Still i'm sure it will pull in the punters looking from the key word angle - Don't think any of the big players will go high on this one

i agree guys lol
gamble.com would be far better, more call to action

is a bit like trying to sell whiskey on a site called alcoholic.com LOL

no doubt it will sell for a highly inflated sum though
tbh the slots.com sale was ott imho
the exacts is not high, even sponsored links not that many
plus only a proportion of world call it that
i know the bodog guy is extremely successful etc but this was a money to burn purchase imho

They bought gambling.com for $17m originally. Not sure they're expecting to top that...
