MAP Research have recently published a report on Global Domain Industry stating that the market size of the industry for registration of Generic Top Level Domains (gTLDs) and Country Code Top Level Domains (ccTLDs) will grow from US$3.1bn in 2007 to US$5.3bn in 2011 (three-year CAGR of 13.6% from 2008), however market growth will soften as global economies falter.
