If you already hold your own Nominet registrar tag, you don't need to use ours. You can run your own tag on our engines — your setup stays isolated, and the catch is registered under your tag directly.
We're not in the middle of it: we don't take a share of the names, we don't get involved in what you go for, and nothing ever passes through us.

You pay a flat monthly fee for the engine access and that's the entire relationship. (use the discount code from yesterday)

What you're getting for it:
  • Servers in Slough, so the round trip to Nominet EPP is about as short as it gets
  • Multi-socket parallel burst firing, timed off real write timings rather than guesswork
  • Your tag, your list, your names
A lot of tag-holders assume a catching service always means handing the name over and getting it back later, or splitting the good ones. Not the case here.

In addition to this, we can also run up an isolated catch engine just for you, so you can modify the catch parameters on the fly.

Hi Bill,

Can you advise the best 5 names caught on your system using your nominet tag this year?

And the best 5 names you caught on your system and your nominet tag since the change on September 13, 2022?

Thanks for the interest, though I'm not going to be much use to you here — we rarely catch for ourselves. Nearly everything running on the engines is on customers' own Nominet tags, so those catches aren't known to us and therefore not ours to talk about, and there isn't much of a list of our own to publish, we have a few at rarenames.co.uk, and probably many times this number have been sold on in the past.

If it helps, drop registrations show up in the public record, so anyone minded to can work out who caught what, or look at domainlore.com on the tab 'Yesterday (who got what)'

Happy to talk about the platform itself if that's what you're after — timing approach, capacity, how the BYO-tag setup works.

Best,
Bill

Hi Bill,

No I was just wondering what you have caught on your system using your tag as you also run a backorder service.

Thanks, the closest i can assist you with is to look at rarenames.co.uk (all caught), and noting that these are the remaining ones from those sold on so bound to be the leftovers..., theres a few coms and nets there too, but they were just registered by us, we dont catch on globals

The backorder service is simply self help on transcom.uk , pay per catch using our tag, but none of these will ever appear on rarenames.co.uk as they are caught by and for customers, with immediate auto transfer.

And those that use their own tag to catch, they go straight to that tag, we are not even aware of what they are.
