Will you be staying in the UK or travelling abroad this summer? If you are going overseas does it worry you about the potential flight cancellation due to the ash problem?

I'll be doing a few camping trips to Wales (Gower) with the family and (small) boat for some fishing excusions

Just got back from center parcs for the second time this year but thats due to having young kids and not wanting to fly with the youngest yet. hassle free, load the car, hour and a half drive and hey presto. I really miss sunshine holidays though!

Yorkshire, east coast for me...I am thinking it would maybe nicer to lay on a hot med beach though...and maybe the same price!!

It's going to be expensive in any country that use the Euro, a mate of mine just came back from a weekend trip to France and was charged (on average) £7 for a lager .... I live in London and think prices here are expensive!

Got back on sunday, from the best family holiday of my life in Kos, Greece - maybe because it was a 5* all inclusive holiday and thats why it was so good lol

Coincidently, I live less than 10 minutes away from the Gower in Swansea - fantastic location to take the kids in the summer !

Butlins for us - sunny skegness - paid for by Tesco vouchers (4x your voucher offer)

Can't say I'm looking forward to it but they'll be plenty for the kids to do so maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised and get a well earned rest :)

Lucky you! some fantastic beaches around the Gower, have been going there for a great number of years now usually staying in Oxwich bay

Stateside for me, I get withdrawal symptoms if I don't visit Vegas at least once a year.

Ash disruption wouldn't put me off but BA strikes would, I can't imagine why anyone would book a flight with BA in the current climate.

Just got back from Florida, was very very lucky that we missed any major disruptions from the ash, we left for Florida just after the week long lock down and returned just after it started going off again. Return flight was delayed by 12 hours!!

We also had to fly OVER the volcano on the return as it was deemed the safest route because of ash all over the atlantic! :???:

We are thinking Rome or Malta or something next year.

We just love Malta! We go there almost every year. Try Mellieha: one of the very few Maltese sandy beaches is nearby. Or Gozo - it's like a different world.

I'm fed up of the checks for flying - go on coach holidays these days. Scandinavia this year.

WTH I qualify as a SAGAlout now - but I'm not paying their prices unless I get to the stage where I can't cope with the cases ...

You want a nice pleasant holiday that doesn't cost a fortune? I recommend Slovenia, or Croatia if you want a beach to lie on - long way to go, but still exceptional value.

Was stuck in Slovakia because of the Volcano last month...

Have a holiday in Ibiza in two weeks time so hope there is no more flight cancellations in the coming weeks.

Also have a trip to Bilbao in July and a Lodge in Scotland booked for August :) Should be nice and relaxing!
