my friend you could be right, i would like to see what you would have thought if the ham you had in you basket then happened to have turned up a party where you had not even been invited to go, but it was there, what the chances of that be, ????'

you are right, i did not pay for the registration, i will try to explain
found the domain i wanted it said it was available, i was asked to register with the company, i do so with complete details, look to pay and cos they dont have paypal i leave it, the name is there as far as i was concerned in my account, this was 22 or 23 december 2010.
i leave it over Christmas , so that i can contact them and see about payments, i the mean time i think of other name to register, look it up and its available, try to get into my account , but find i could not access, this i tried a few time, fed up i went to another company and registered again, payed and that was that. as i was there, i thought well if i have not yet payed for the other i might as well do it here, these people accepted paypal. i got a schock, it said that my domain was not available, i go another company to make sure i had not made a mistake somewhere, it too said that it had been taken, i did a whois and it shows up that it had been taken......................
what my anger and believe that there is something that is NOT quite right is that
1 it was sold on the 24th december (1 or 2 days after i had "booked it")
2 it was bought of that same company that i had tried to pay(that seems to be a bit off 1 in a billion change of anyone by chance having just be passing by and bought of that same company) there are hundreds of companies they could have bought of
3 all my attempts to get to my account come to zero
4 i try something esle go to the original company make up a domain name and its available so i click buy , i get taken it to log in, ask for a new password , got one and this time i get in, put is some fake info, BUT ....when i check out my control panel info for some reason my full name is there everything is right, as i had put in the first time.....
my friend, i am new , i am not out to out do anyone, but it seems to me that something fishy is going on, i am not an expert so i am asking people who are to be of help if they can.....

You can't "book" a domain name just by putting it in your shopping cart - that's your mistake right there.
If you paid for it, that's something different, but the way you explain it you have nothing to complain about except your bad luck that somebody else spotted the domain name a couple of days after you did, but PAID for it first.
End of story.

This is basically like going to a car showroom, sitting in a car for a bit. Then coming back next week to buy it and it's been sold. You should have been more on the ball and just registered the domain on the day you found it was available.

you are both right, i have 1 question, as there are certainly fewer garage, and fewer models , few colours and fewere everything with the cars example, it amazes me how on the world wide web, just by chance someone else came up with the same domain name, just a day or so after i did, and just by chance go and buy it from EXACTLY that same company where i had registered, you who certainly have much more experience that i have , give it a try and tell me the number of chances there would be, i believe it is some sort of scam that these people work on, either one does it straight away or the can value the potentials and then assign it to someone else to get one to pay more for it or to do something with it.

Francosi, I once seen a domain available in .com and .co.uk, it took me 40 mins to think yes I'll do it, when I went to register them the .co.uk had been took ?
When you consider the the millions of registered domains there is then probability says some domains will have 2 people going for them at the same time.

Just before christmas i went to reg aaronc.co.uk and then thought na I really don't need it, changed my mind the other day went to reg it, and it was gone! That my friend is life.

If it was a common name extension with a popular registrar, then no I wouldn't think it's all that unlikely that someone picked it up from the same company. Unless it was a crazy unusual name that didn't make any sense.
You'd have to have chosen to do a domain name through a company that not only tracks all domain name searches, but sifts through them all as well (or possibly has some kind of crazy money-wasting automated system). I personally haven't ever heard of this. Even then, it's not a scam.

You left a domain in a cart , then walked away for several days (you can't remember exactly) And now you consider the domain stolen ?

Please rewrite in proper sentences, using punctuation such as the fullstop.Actually, regardless, there's nothing we can do. It's just hard luck. Without knowing specific details of the company involved, and putting aside the fact that your English is atrociousness (I'm guessing you're foreign, but so what), nobody can help. If you didn't actually register and pay for the domain name then it was never yours. Someone else registered it, and you'll have a very difficult time proving that their registration was related to your original attempt at a registration. If you feel aggrieved or that you have lost something, consult an appropriate member of the legal profession. Nobody here can do anything.
Do you know something i think you are a very inconsiderate person how dare you try and correct someone without knowing that they maybe dyslexic
or have add like my self , grow up not everyone is great at writing and who the hell are you to be judge and jury
