When it comes to children, a parent’s main concern is their safety. While this includes warning them of dangers inside and outside the home, often forgotten are the threats they are exposed to online. A recent poll by online parenting organisation Netmums, revealed this week that one in ten children who illegally download files from the Internet have been exposed to sexually explicit or offensive material.
