Anyone have any thoughts on either wired or wireless IP cameras to add a little security to a property?

We were burgled for the 2nd time in 3 years a couple of weeks ago. We have CCTV, which they spotted and avoided.

I'm planning to get some cameras for inside the house. Should the alarm go off, I can check the camera from anywhere in the world and deactivate the alarm if it's a false-alarm, or call the police if it isn't.

Not decided on which to go for yet, but the decision to get one has been made.

We brought an El Cheapo Woo Flung set of eBay, with 2 IR HD cams. We then brought another 2, to make a 4 cam system.

Connects to internet using a standard network port. Took a bit of jigger-ry poker-ry, to get it going on the mobiles (mainly down to instructiuons looking like they had been fed into google translate, and not read by an english speaker).
Also need to leave the case lid off, or else it overheats, but its up out way, and dust protected.

Cracking system for the £80 we paid, no complaints. Cameras are wired, though.

We have a simple ebay jobbie, this works well and the remote seems to work well so was able to take a peek at the house when on holiday.

I'd rather not trust something like security to wireless though so wired is good for me. You still need to provide power to the camera so wireless either has to have a big battery or a wire anyway.

The software will allow you to record on motion detection and trigger events like doing an ftp upload so evidence can be shifted off-site if required.
