It went for double in the past I believe. I can see the appeal to it. I know .co.uk doesn't match the actual location, but it's well positioned for an Istanbul site for a UK audience.

That's true, I suppose! I can see the .com is a very successful business.

Yes, I did think about bidding myself, but I don't think I know enough about the location to do it justice. It'd be great as a project for someone with a passion for the place though!
