And of course by tomorrow everyone will have taken-stock. "fight your corner " yep me to, always.
Shame 'whatever it was' seems to have resulted in two threads being deleted. (And worse, A mod resigning)

Perhaps a "time-out" is about right

Trouble is actual facts don't get addressed properly with timeouts. Then it resurfaces again at another time.

Yep but, you get to revist without a "Hot-head" And with the bonus of knowing 'what went before'

Surprising how things look somewhat different even after a short time-out. guess thats why they're popular the world over...

It depends if one was posting hot headily in the first instance. Often after timeouts people decide not to bother at all and things get left. Maybe they could refrain from being hot headed and see a discussion through intellectually!

Indeed

Lets not forget, theres also some souls in this world that see conflict/argument as (almost) their reason for being. Perhaps because they're good and excel in that environment.

I think for most (not all) would rather have an opportunity to take stock.
