Afternoon chaps, I got snared by ebays 5p listing day promo and decided to list lie.co.uk - ended up with it in 2 categories and featured costing me £20+ so please bid high

Thanks Charlie, don't be fooled by the number of bids though - one user made about 25 individual bids until they reached the summit, only to be outbid 2 mins later

Well, I didnt get the last minute bidding frenzy I was hoping for

I'm happy with the price having caught it for a fiver a month ago but would have been happier with more, obviously. It was a bit of a weird domain, I doubt many businesses call themselves 'lie' or use it as an acronym of there business name - hardly instills confidence in customers

oh, and the winning bidder has paid already.

congrats grant - i agree with you, with that price been set quiet a while ago i was expecting to see the value go up towards the end.

domains on ebay are odd - or perhaps seeing what in general is on offer the buyers are odd. I'm not really a fan but it does give a world wide potenial audience.

an expected price i suppose for a word that has no obvious market and a 'negative' feel
